The Climb Begins with Nepal Holiday Treks

The land of mountains , Nepal, has tourism as one of the major factor affecting its economy. The world's highest point, the mighty Mount Everest is situated in the country which makes it a place most suitable for the adventurous tourists to challenge the nature in her unconquerable form. This is a land of the highest superlative, the most popular to the most secluded are situated here.

Almost more than half of the foreign trekkers in Nepal direct their climb towards the massif Annapurna range. Though the Annapurna peaks are very dangerous to climb, the risk takers do it all. After the Annapurna range, it is the Khumbu region which receives most international visitors. There are also other mountains which are less loftier than the Annapurna or the Mount Everest but are very popular among the international travelers.

A Trek to Everest Trek:


The Everest Trek is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Nepal , which is famous for its fantastic mountain peaks and the beauty on the hills. Most of the places to this spot go through ridges and trails, but you would have ample space to rest and have meal on your way. And one of the best things about this place is that you don’t have to worry about being lost, as you can ask anybody for the next village. The people here are very friendly and offer help and support even to strangers. The people who live here are mostly shepherds and understand English; some even speak it fluently.

A Trek to the Island Peak:


Imja Tse, better known as the Island peak Climbing is something you should not miss if you are in Nepal. The mountain is situated in the Eastern part of the Himalayas. This peak generally can be the first ideal Himalayan climb. From the peak of the mountain, you can have dramatic view of the giant Himalayan ranges, the Everest, Lhotse and Makalu. This mountain expedition is actually a superb entry into the Himalayas. The trip generally originates in Kathmandu and we can have the cultural glimpse of the ancient city.

Peak climbing in Nepal:

Nepal has been the focus of outstanding achievements in the world of Peak climbing in Nepal and expeditions, with its eight peaks above 8000 meters. It has challenged the minds and bodies of those who have dared for decades. Among the identified 1310 peaks above 6000 meter, one quarter are officially opened for mountaineering activities, including the 'trekking peaks'. Climbing these peaks is the next step beyond 'simply' trekking, before scaling the 8000-meter peaks.


Most of trekking peaks (6500m below peaks) are listed in with Nepal mountaineering association, an official mountaineering association of the Nepal. There are more than 20 peaks below 6500m opened for alpine climbing.

The Majestic Mountain Trek of Nepal

Nepal, popularly known as the the Land of the Himalayas, us very high on the list of mountain climbers and lovers of trekking. When you think of mountains in Nepal, the first thing which comes to your mind is Mount Everest. But, Nepal is a home to a number of mountains, from the 3000 feet Churiys hills to the Giant Himalayas and the ranges scattered along the borders of Tibet.

Most of the tourist crowd in Nepal are among the adventure travellers. Apart from the unique experiences and the majestic mountains you will enjoy, mountain climbing is an exciting sport which carries along many physical and psychological benefits with it. Mountain climbing is more than just risk taking. It requires dedication and patience and all the more, with it comes valuable knowledge and experience.

Mardi Himal Trek:

Situated just east of one of the most popular treks of Nepal, the Annapurna Base Camp trek, the Mardi Himal trek is a hidden gem. Few trekkers make their way to the Mardi Himal Base Camp spectacularly situated at the base of Mardi.


The trail goes along small winding paths, through magical rhododendron forests until you climb out of the forest at an elevation around 3,300 m. The landscape changes quite abruptly into a rugged high mountain landscape, with amazing views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchre, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.

From High Camp (3580 m; some maps incorrectly mention 3900 m) you can climb up to Mardi Himal Base Camp in about 3-4 hours, which offers spectacular close up views of the entire Annapurna Range.

Annapurna Trekking:


The Annapurna Circuit is a popular name for a trek within the Annapurna mountain range of central Nepal. Annapurna trekking has been wildly recognized as a naturalist's paradise. The upper sub-alpine steppe environment harbors some of the rare snow leopards and blue sheep. Other areas of the region protect bird species such as the multi-coloured Impeyan, kokla, blood pheasant amongst a multitude of other birds, butterflies and insects. Many plants native to Nepal are found in this forest. The conservation area has 100 varieties of orchids and some of the richest temperate rhododendron forest in the world.

Mustang Trekking:


Mustang trekking is one of Nepal's most mysterious and least known kingdoms. The landscape of Mustang is a barren moonscape of eroded sandstone pillars and discontinuous moraine terraces, which together present a colorful mosaic made up principally of earthen reds, yellows and brown. It is relatively easy trekking along the permitted route to Lo Manthang, which lies in the very heart of Mustang. The trek to Mustang is through an almost treeless barren landscape. Strong winds generally howl across the area in the afternoon, generally subsiding at night. Being in the rain shadow of the Himalaya, Mustang has much less rain then the rest of Nepal.
